Art Works was established in 1988 as a service bureau for artists. We provide a wide variety of services which help artist promote their careers and professionally present themselves to the public. Our clients include major studios, Galleries and Museums as well as hundreds of artists in Southern California and across the United States.

All transparencies will be shot to our normal specifications (i.e. density, color balance, polarization) unless other instructions are given

Due to the fact that certain colors are transient to film, we cannot guarantee accurate color matches for all colors. Please consult our photographers if there are any questions about dyes and/or paints and/or inks used in your work

Normal turnaround times for work is dependent on the work load. Normal turnaround is 3-4 days. Two day service will be assessed a 50% rush charge. One day service will bee assessed a 100% rush charge.

Any as you wait service must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. There will be a 50% surcharge for as you wait service.

Any reshoot which is necessary and not our responsibility will be billed at our first shot rate.

¥We are not responsible for any art left at the Art Works longer than two weeks, unless other provisions have been made.

All checks returned NSF will be assessed a $20 handling charge.

Any art larger than 4 feet in one dimension will be given a surcharge which will be quoted per job. Any art that is unusually heavy or awkward will be assessed a surcharge.

In the rare case of an error for which we are responsible , we will be responsible only for the cost of reshooting your art.

Customers are expected to carry their own insurance protecting their property. We are not responsible for any damage or loss even due to the negligence or other fault of our company, subsidiary or agents to any property left on our premises or for work to be performed. We will be responsible only for the cost of reperforming the original job.
